The key objective of the Growing American Farmers and Ranchers® AgriVisions® Beginning Farmer Program is to educate and provide leadership to expand the opportunities available in agriculture. By taking part in this program you will learn new skills, make new friends, and yes, get your brain jump started.
As a participant, you will:
• Expand your knowledge of the Ag industry
• Expand your knowledge of capital, break evens, marketing, and aspects of financing
• Grow a stronger appreciation and understanding of the resources in Agriculture
• Enhance your self-confidence, personal development, responsibility and leadership skills
• Appreciate the need to be a life-long learner in Agriculture
• Network with other farmers, ranchers, and industry leaders around the area

Who is eligible for the Growing American Farmers and Ranchers® AgriVisions® Beginning Farmer Program?
Farmers and ranchers who have been involved in Agriculture for less than 10 years. You must be at least 21 years of age to participate. Spouses are included in all aspects of the program and the knowledge gained is beneficial in any setting – whether on the farm or off.
