Mortgage Loan Accounting Representative

Functions include processing of loan payments and advances, review and disbursement of loan proceeds, examine new loan and activity reports, input and validate loan maintenance, and manage escrow accounts. This individual will be a liaison between our Residential Real Estate Loan Accounting Departments and must have the ability to work in a team environment. The function of this position is to prepare closing documents for mortgage loan closings. Duties include assuring loans are clear to close, preparing closing disclosures, coordinating numbers with settlement agents and preparing all required mortgage loan closing documents for approved mortgage loan applications. This position will assist with the leadership and administration of a variety of compliance functions and also assist with administration of the bank's Community Reinvestment Act Program. The preferred candidate will hold a bachelor's degree and have five to seven years related compliance management experience, expertise with Truth-in-Lending and HMDA, a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM) designation and/or comparable training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The position will report to the Senior VP-Compliance and join a five-person compliance team.
