We are looking for someone who likes to have fun, has a positive attitude and good work ethic. Candidates must support and engage in First Dakota’s culture for exceptional customer service. Has the ability to process a variety of transactions accurately and efficiently. The candidate must have the capability to maintain strict confidentiality, attention to detail and comply with all Bank policies and procedures. The ability to effectively communicate with various types of clientele, co-workers and departments to resolve an assortment of needs is required. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work well in a team environment is essential. This position will consist of 25-30 hours per week. This is not a seasonal position, candidate must be able to work this schedule year round. Hours include Monday-Friday 11:30-5:30 and rotating Saturdays 9-12

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements
Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances
Enters customers' transactions into computer, and issues receipts
Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds
Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift
Promotes and cross-sells other banking products and services as appropriate to customer's needs
Removes deposits from, and counts and balances cash in, automated teller machines and night depository
Provides ongoing relationship servicing with customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business
Attendance - regularly designated work shift required

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Math Ability:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software

Education
