In 1999, John Elway and the Denver Broncos won the big one for the second year in a row, The Matrix premiered, and Boris Yeltsin resigned as Russia’s President.

Meanwhile in Mitchell, South Dakota, First Dakota National Bank was opening a new location.

We started out with a handful of employees in an old furniture building, before upgrading to two trailer houses on East Norway Avenue. Even from these humble beginnings, we could tell the future looked bright in Mitchell.

25 years later, First Dakota is proud to be thriving as we serve the area from our two Mitchell locations.
