We want to see our communities thrive, which is why we go out of our way to find ways to support them. Our employees invest hundreds of local volunteer hours each year. First Dakota financially supports an extensive range of community groups, organizations and causes. Through good times and bad, we are here to help you Account For Your Dreams.
When times got tough during the COVID-19 outbreak, we created an uplifting video reminding us that we need community now more than ever. Although everyday life had changed, life was not canceled. Family was not canceled. Dreams were not canceled.
We launched Operation Dakota First as our own stimulus package for local businesses impacted by the response to COVID-19. First Dakota employees were given up to $148 each (a dollar for each year we’ve been in business) to spend at businesses in their communities. The economic boost was instant, and very well received:
Dakota First Testimonials
“A tip of the Dakota Angler cap goes to First Dakota National Bank! Today they sent out their 369 employees with money to spend at true local businesses and Dakota Angler was one of those! We greatly appreciate their concerns for local “Mom & Pop” stores in these times!”
“Amidst the craziness that we are calling life right now, it is so uplifting to see a company do something selfless and positive. A big shout out to @FirstDakota for making an impact!
