Dakota Thirst

Golden Honey Lager

Classic + Smooth + Refreshing

4.9% ABV / 11 IBU

A refreshingly smooth, traditional lager brewed with Hutch's Honey from Burke, South Dakota. Utilizing a unique blend of hops and barley, Dakota Thirst has a balanced flavor with a slightly sweet finish. It pours golden in color with a thick, rich head of foam.

Hoppy + Flavorful + Citrusy

6.5% ABV / 40 IBU

We combine four different hops during the brewing process Centennial, Citra, Chinook, and Cashmere to create our own unique twist on the IPA style. Cashmere is grown locally at 6th Meridian hop farm in Yankton, South Dakota. The ripe citrus and floral hop notes linger but are well-balanced by the smooth malty finish.

We're also giving back in bigger ways. For every can of Dakota Thirst & Cash Flow purchased this year, First Dakota is donating $1 to the South Dakota Community Foundation's Stronger Communities Fund. The Stronger Communities Fund was created by First Dakota National Bank to help South Dakota communities thrive and prosper, regardless of their size, resources or history.

Since 1872, First Dakota has called South Dakota home. Our commitment to the region runs deep. This fund is one of the ways we give back to the people, organizations and communities that make this such a fantastic place to live and grow.

Deadlines for grant applications are March 31, June 30, September 30 and December 31. Applications are reviewed quarterly, and if approved, awards will be granted within six weeks of application deadlines. Anyone can apply, but priority will be given to those communities with a First Dakota presence.

We're proud to celebrate the first sesquicentennial of any South Dakota bank. We owe it to the countless customers who have trusted us with their banking since 1872.

To celebrate its 150th anniversary, First Dakota National Bank is awarding a Ford F-150®* truck. The rules are simple:

  • You may only enter once. If you enter more than once, your entry may be rejected at First Dakota’s discretion.
  • Entries will be accepted until Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at 4:00 pm CST.
  • The five finalists must be present at Ben’s Brew Station in Yankton, South Dakota on Saturday, November 19, at 2:30 pm to be eligible to win the truck.
  • A winner will be drawn at that time and will receive a Ford F-150 with an approximate retail value of $47,000. There will be no substitutions. The recipient will be responsible for any income, sales, or other taxes.
