Phishing Scam - please be aware
We are aware of a phishing scam that is happening in our area that we want you to be aware of. Fraudsters are sending text alerts from 888-279-2232 and 855-203-1825 (there could be other numbers as well). The message states that your card has been locked and you need to call the number provided. When you call the number, they will pretend to be a legitimate banker and try to get you to share your Digital Banking credentials, and personal/financial information.
Please remember to never share your login credentials with anyone. We will never ask you for this information. If you receive these types of texts or phone calls, don't respond. Instead, pick up the phone and call your local First Dakota banker at the number you always call to reach us, or stop by one of our convenient locations.
We want to help protect you from scams and fraudsters, but please remember these fraudsters are very good at what they do. So it is best to call us first rather than responding to an unexpected message or phone call.
