Mike Ness

Michael Ness is the Chairman of the Board of First Dakota National Bank and the President and Market Manager for our Sioux Falls market. In addition, he is part of the Bank’s Executive Management team. Michael was elected to the Board of Directors in 2011. Prior to joining First Dakota, in October of 2002, he was employed with Commercial Federal Bank, Lincoln, NE. Michael is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and holds a degree in Business Administration.

Michael is actively involved in the Sioux Falls community. He is currently on the executive committee for the Takota Youth Center, is actively involved with Big Stars & Pink Guitars (an annual fundraiser for the Edith Sanford Breast Cancer Research Facility), and is a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church.
