Rob Stephenson

Rob Stephenson is the President and Chief Executive Officer of First Dakota National Bank, and is a member of the Bank’s Board of Directors. Rob’s overall responsibilities include providing general leadership and oversight of all major aspects of the bank. Rob joined First Dakota in 1996 as a Commercial Loan Officer and was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer in 2005, at which time he also joined the Executive Management Team. In 2010, he was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer and joined the Board. He was named CEO in January, 2023.

Rob is active in the Yankton community, currently serving on the boards of Yankton Thrive, Mount Marty University, and the Lewis & Clark Behavioral Health Center. He also serves in volunteer positions with the Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Previous community work includes serving as the board chairs for Avera Sacred Heart Hospital and Yankton Area Progressive Growth, as well as in a variety of volunteer positions with Yankton United Way agencies and youth sports.
