Ty Kinneberg

Ty joined the First Dakota National Bank Wealth & Trust team in November of 2025. Ty is passionate about supporting individuals and institutions in achieving their financial goals through investment management, retirement planning, trust administration, and estate planning and administration. In 2022, he obtained the professional designations of Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) and Accredited Fiduciary Investment Manager (AFIM®).

Ty graduated from Mount Marty College in Yankton, South Dakota, with a double major in Business Administration with a Finance Emphasis and Recreational Management. Prior to joining First Dakota, Ty worked for BankWest in the Investment Management and Trust Department for six years.

Ty is originally from Parkston, South Dakota. After college, Ty lived in Pierre for three years before moving to Mitchell to be closer to family. While in Pierre, Ty was involved with the Pierre Area Chamber of Commerce and looks forward to being involved in his community of Mitchell. During time away from work, Ty enjoys golfing, fishing, playing card games, and learning new skills.
